How to Sand a Live Edge Slab

1. We recommend using a vault hand sander to sand the wood piece. 
2. Start with 40 grit. Then move on with 60, 80, 100, and 120 girt.
3. Once you have finished sanding, wipe the slab’s surface with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
4. Apply wood oil to the slab’s surface with a clean cloth. This will help to protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty.
5. Let the oil soak into the wood for the recommended time, usually between 15 and 30 minutes.
6. Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.
7. Let the slab dry completely for at least 24 hours before using it.
